WEDDINGS
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding!

Are you looking for an experienced and professional marriage celebrant?
Such a special day in your life requires someone who will embrace your love story and help you to create a ceremony designed just for you. My sincerity, warm personality and reliability will be shown to you at all times.
To make everything easier for you, a selection of wedding ceremonies, vows, ring vows, poetry and readings will be made available to you to help you on your way. All the material can be used as is, or of course, you may like to cut and paste or write your own personal vows to each other.
You may also like to think about including family or close friends in your ceremony. There are many different ways and I am more than happy to discuss these with you. Australia is a vast country with many different cultural traditions – perhaps you may like to include a particular tradition in your ceremony.
Other small ceremonies like rose, sand, candle or sharing of wine can also be included. The main thing is that you have the chance to choose every aspect of your marriage ceremony, so that it is unique for you and your relationship.
What's included in your total Wedding Celebrant Package?
- Meetings at your home or mine or at a venue convenient to both.
- Telephone and email consultations.
- Brief outline of a wedding ceremony that is easy to follow with samples of ceremonies and many choices of vows, readings and ring vows.
- PA system with CD player (AC/DC), to insure that all your guests will hear your ceremony.
- Covered table and 2 chairs for signing documents.
- All legal documentation, including registration of your marriage.
- Newly married name change service.
- DVD Relationship information for couples and families.
All my couples receive a beautifully presented copy of the wedding ceremony in the form of a small memento booklet. As the day seems to pass so quickly, it is nice to sit quietly some time after the wedding day is over and read the beautiful words that were said.
ARRIVING IN AUSTRALIA TO BE MARRIED
How wonderful if you are being married in our country with its many scenic venues. A “Notice of Intended Marriage” form (see below) can either be mailed or faxed to you and if a letter for Immigration is required for a spouse, I can organise that for you.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
All Australian citizens must complete a “Notice of Intended Marriage” form (NIM). This form must be lodged with me no less than one month and one day before your wedding day and no longer than eighteen months. This form is available from me or can be downloaded from the Births, Deaths and Marriages site. Download NIM.
Legally I am required to sight your Birth Certificates and if born overseas your current Passport. If either party has previously been married, I must sight your divorce paper (Decree Absolute) or Death Certificate if previous spouse died. If the necessary documents are in a language other than English, they may need to be translated. Witnesses to a marriage ceremony may be family or friends, but must be over the age of eighteen.
Please contact me today for an appointment to discuss your wedding ceremony.
